    Read the information below carefully. 

    The Junior Volunteer (JV) Program is designed to allow a small number of students to take a leadership role with the Wildlife Camp program. The goal is to develop and practice leadership skills that will impact the participants' camp experience as well as their lives after camp.   

    Qualifications:

    • Be at least 17 years old
    • Been to Wildlife camp at least 2 years
    • Proven leadership skills and/or potential

    Selection Process: 

    • Applicants must submit this application by May 25th.
    • Applicants will complete an interview. 
    • Applicants will be notified as soon as the selections have been made.
       

    Job Description:

    • Helping instructors prepare for classes (setup, supplies, etc)
    • Assist instructors with class facilitation 
    • Assist with campers' supervision
    • Help take pictures as needed
    • Plus whatever is needed to make camp successful!

    If Selected:

    • You will be required to attend a Mandatory Training Session June 26th & 27th. (More Details will be provided closer to training after volunteer Selection)

    Thank you for your interest in volunteering in the Wildlife Camp Program. Once you have submitted your application, you may be contacted for an interview as part of the selection process. Please note that applicants are subject to criminal background checks and must abide by the Center’s Drug-Free Workplace Policy. If you are selected, then you will receive one student scholarship, and be required to attend a Mandatory Training Session June 26th & 27th. (More Details will be provided closer to training after volunteer Selection)
